MISSION
To promote and coordinate activities to reduce gaps between men and women in all areas of the Engineering Faculty, focusing on students and faculty.
The unit fosters affirmative actions to encourage the participation of women in engineering and coordinates gender equity initiatives with internal and external entities that maintain a direct relationship with the Engineering Faculty.
Audiences and actions
On March 8, 2022, the Engineering Faculty of the Universidad de Concepción made official the Gender Unit, aimed at promoting and encouraging the participation of women in engineering, as well as coordinating gender equity actions between internal and external entities.
