Chemical Engineering UdeC – part of the Chemical Engineering Department – contributes, with its professional experience and high level of research, not only to the most important industries of the country and the Biobío Region, but also to the rest of the continent. This professional is fundamentally oriented to process engineering, defined as the transformation of raw materials into finished products, through the use of materials, energy and financial resources.
Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical, Biochemical, Biomolecular, and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
