Purpose
We must be able to provide multidisciplinary and flexible learning environments, where our students can acquire technological knowledge, innovative capacity and a sense of work ethic that will allow them to be agents of change at a global level.
Mission
We are trainers of undergraduate and graduate professionals with high technological standards and highly committed to society, providing an interdisciplinary training immersed in an inclusive environment. We seek to develop knowledge and innovative solutions adding value to society, contributing to the welfare and sustainable development at regional, national and global levels. For those who make up our faculty, we are proud of our achievements, our contributions, our love for engineering and caring for the well-being of our community.
Vision
To be the best Engineering Faculty in Chile and leader in Latin America in the training of undergraduate and graduate professionals, providing an education of international standard, with high competencies in the development of interdisciplinary research, innovative solutions and technological ventures that favor the welfare and regional, national and global sustainable development.

Educational Model
The Universidad de Concepción has an educational model that is adopted by our Faculty, and deepened in critical aspects for the formation of engineers that the world needs. In this sense, our faculty promotes the integration of learning for the development of specific and generic competencies, essential to address complex and socially relevant problems through engineering. Thus, the 13 specialties of the Engineering Faculty have relevant graduate profiles aligned with international standards, also promoting the development of generic competencies. In addition to technological innovation, the 4 hallmark competencies of the institution stand out: Critical Thinking, Communication, Interdisciplinary Teamwork and Social Responsibility.
