Electrical Engineering UdeC – part of the Department of Electrical Engineering – trains students capable of actively participating in the development of engineering projects in the area of electrical energy, as well as in the creation and management of companies and in the administration of personnel and goods, performing their professional duties in an ethical manner and in harmony with the environment.

The Electrical Engineer is a professional trained to actively participate in the development of engineering projects in the area of their competence, as well as in the creation and management of companies and in the administration of personnel and goods, performing their professional work ethically and in harmony with the environment.

This professional possesses a strong self-learning awareness and ability that allows them to adapt to the constant changes in the areas of application of electrical engineering. The integral formation prepares them to participate in multidisciplinary work teams, where a high capacity of professional communication with colleagues, superiors and dependent personnel is required.

Due to their scientific and technological maturity, the Electrical Engineer is prepared to integrate development and research teams and, therefore, to participate successfully in graduate programs at national and international level.
